Blogger How-To: Uploading Attachments on Blogger Using Google Hosting
Last week, a question was asked in the comments section. I was asked if there is a way to upload file attachments to Blogger posts. Unfortunately, only picture and video files can be uploaded into a Blogger post. However, you can use your Google account as a third-party host. Linking to this host will allow your readers to download and view your files.
For step-by-step instructions on how to include attachments through third-party hosting, see the links below.
This link, from doncaprio.com, discusses file hosting in broad terms and then covers step-by-step Google hosting.

One lakh engineering seats go vacant
The seat allotment list was announced late on Tuesday. While 2,34,488 engineering and pharmacy seats were on offer, only 1,26,390 were filled, leaving 1,08,098 seats vacant.
A total of 13 colleges recorded “zero admissions” while up to five seats were filled in 20 colleges. Fourteen colleges registered admissions in the range of 6-10 seats.
Only 7 colleges had admissions in the range of 701 to 800 and only one college had admissions of 801-900. Two colleges had admissions of 901 and above.
The managements of engineering colleges blame the on-going political turmoil in the state for over a lakh of seats going vacant in merit quota alone during counselling.
They pointed out that counselling had been disrupted in Seemandhra region right from Day 1 and the political uncertainty had forced a large number of students to skip counselling and opt for colleges in other states fearing more disruption to academic activities in the coming days.
They expressed concern that a large number of colleges would down shutters this year due to poor admissions.
Though 2,18,893 students had qualified in Eamcet engineering this year, only 1,30,290 turned up for counselling for certificate verification. Of them, 1,28,724 students exercised their options on preferred colleges and courses and 1,26,390 were allotted seats.
In Eamcet counselling, 34 university engineering colleges had offered 6,550 seats and 609 private colleges had offered 2,19,296 seats. Similarly, 12 university pharmacy colleges had offered 265 seats and 266 private colleges had offered 14,337 seats.
The final phase of counselling will be conducted from September 24 to 27 and the seat allotments will be announced on September 29.
Students who have been allotted seats will have to download the allotment order by entering their registration number, hall ticket number, password and date of birth and also the bank challan form for payment of fees.
The fees indicated in the allotment order can be paid in any branch of Indian Bank or Andhra Bank. For fee reimbursement cases no challan need to be downloaded. Students will have to report to their respective colleges on or before September 23.
